Welcome to the second annual EGYC Regatta which is quickly becoming one of the premier events on the bay! Last year, close to 100 boats of all types enjoyed a tremendous day on the water competing in a pursuit race under three classes; Spinnaker (racers) non-Spinnaker (racers sans spinnaker hassles) and Non Spinnaker Family Class (dodgers, rail mounted barbecues and anchors firmly attached to bowsprits). We also had a group who participated in the Predicted Log Event - a first! This was all topped off with a huge party at the East Greenwich Yacht Club.
In addition on Sunday, a One Design Regatta was held in Lasers featuring some of the top sailors on the bay. This year, we will also host 420s and Hunters!
So, no matter what type of vessel you have or skill of your crew, come on out and enjoy a great day of sailing.
